![]() As they shoot you, Wernicke says "God in Heaven. You arrive at the exit, and you are greeted by Wernicke and some soldiers. Then, you shut down Billy's life support and kill him, causing the Walrider to use you as a host, because you are someone who witnessed the true terror in this hell hole, therefore you are a natural host. Then, you meet Wernicke, the head of MURLOCK, and he explains the story of Billy, the artificial host and the Walrider. Deeper, into the actual MURLOCK building, where you are chased yet again by Chris, who quickly gets exterminated by the Walrider. You take the fixed elevator, and you find yourself going farther than you needed to. Once you escape, you travel deeper into the asylum, and you hear talk of a man named Billy, this leads you deeper into the plot.Īfter escaping some more patients, and some more parts of the plot, Father Martin has calmed the inmates and he self immolates as a sacrifice to the Walrider. He cuts of your fingers and has you escape from him while he chases you around everywhere. ![]() ![]() After some MORE running, you realize the evil, deranged intents of the inmates are really just cries for help, however some of the inmates legitimately want to kill you.Īfter a little running, and minor plot, you meet the crazy scientist/doctor Trager. He advises you to press on, so you do.Īfter a whole lot of running, you are thrown in a cell of your own, where you have the opportunity to meet some of the other victims. He catches you and throws you through the window, and on the ground, you meet Father Martin, who has seemed to turn to a "God" called the Walrider. In the beginning, you meet one of the many victims of MURDOK's testing, Chris Walker, the giant behemoth who chases you around everywhere. So, being a reporter, you decide to check it out. You are Miles Upshur, a reporter, who has received word of a company named MURDOK, which specializes in psychological sciences, are experimenting on the patients of Mount Massive Asylum. There is a lot of confusion about the plot of Outlast, so let me clarify it from the beginning.
